Mixed-Use Project Seen as Jump-Starting Masten District and Jefferson Avenue Renewal
Sinatra & Company Real Estate is teaming with public and private sector partners to bring new development to Jefferson Avenue in the Masten District. Sinatra is working with Creative Structures Services and People Inc. to construct a two-building, 84-unit mixed-use project on the west side of Jefferson, north of the Johnnie B. Wiley Sports Complex between Dodge and Northampton streets. Work on the $21 million project is expected to begin next spring with completion in early 2018.

CSS Construction was selected to be the general contractor for the renovation/ new construction of a former 66,000 sq. ft. warehouse into a combined (30) unit apartment complex that will include a community center and two commercial spaces. The project award is $7,500,000 and will be working along with Belmont Housing Resources for WNY funding through NYS 9% Tax Credits and City of Buffalo HOME Program.

Belmont Housing Resources of WNY (BHR) is close to completing $7.5 million renovation/reconstruction of a warehouse at 1490 Jefferson Avenue. Once finished, the former 66,000 square foot warehouse will include 30 apartment units, a community center and two commercial spaces. The project, in the hands of CSS Construction (General Contractor) and Silvestri Architects, is scheduled for completion this summer.

Homes to be sold between the $180,000- $225,000 range and two Commercial single story buildings. The first to be app. 8,000 sq. ft. and the second app. 12,000. Construction to commence this fall and with a Spring 2015 completion.
